An interest-free lending pool that revolves perpetually. 0% from either side.
The remedy of riba, and the ultimate goal of the Fotoh ecosystem. An interest-free lending platform where members contribute to a global pool and never withdraw the principal in this life. Borrowers repay; the capital revolves perpetually. Each cycle carries the reward the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم named for a loan — eighteen, where a sadaqah is ten. Qardon is the father of sadaqat — sadaqah is consumed once; Qardon revolves until the Day of Judgment.
0% from either side. 100% of every contribution enters the pool whole. 100% of every disbursement reaches the borrower whole. Nothing in between can resemble interest. Operations are funded from investment yield on a halal portfolio, charitable contributions from Fotoh, Inc., and lean technology billing under a Master Service Agreement. Transparent, audited, and disclosed in the qardon.org Form 990.
Qardon is the destination of the entire Fotoh flywheel. Live Athan users discover it. MIS Ummah Census tells it where new masjids are needed. Masjid Builder executes the builds it funds. MMS displays its content in every partner masjid. Live Athan Premium revenue (via Fotoh, Inc.) charitable-contributes to the qardon.org operating budget during bootstrap.
How the money is held: qardon.org never receives or holds it. Each participant's funds sit in that person's own account at a licensed custodian, in his own name, and move directly between those accounts. There is no pool account, no escrow, and no IRS determination pending — because none is sought. What you give is a qard hasan to Allah, never a charitable gift, and it is never tax-defore transfer. Tax-deductible receipts issue retroactively upon recognition.
Give, borrow, or apply for Recovery directly at qardon.org. It is a platform of Fotoh, Inc. — not a separate charity — and it records rather than holds: your money stays in your own account, in your own name.
